Great place, good prices, DEFINITELY would play here and direct people here. Now don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing WRONG with the tables or cues or even balls. For such a big place with so many tables, I was hoping to see more of them in top-notch quality. Sure, my fault for not always having my brain on, but come on dude lighten up a little! Onto the tables, I honestly feel like the tables here are OK. We just had that awkward moment until my brain caught up to what he was repeating. He let us know that I can’t order beer either – which is fine… I mean… how’d he know I was going to pass my 27 year old friend the beer? Anyway, I just wasn’t a fan because he made me feel a little dumb and unwelcomed when I didn’t realize he had told me «it’s pay as you go» meaning I needed to pay for my soda right then and there. He wasn’t too thrilled that my friend didn’t have his ID – which is fine. The guy who works there was a little MEH. I might get a hot dog every time I shoot pool from now on! Service: the girl waiter was sweet, but it might be because I give sweet tips. IT’S SOOOOOO JUICY!!! Literally the dog itself is juicy and that’s hard to find at a place like this where you don’t expect food. HOB has a great selection of beer and I just found out they offer food as well! Tons of beers on draft and can I just say that for $ 3 a hot dog, it was amazing. 5 stars if I could, but since their hot dog was so damn amazing… they get 4 stars. I will spread this bad experience and will play pool elsewhere. My boyfriend lives in Woodland Hills but I live in the neighborhood and have brought many friends here. They said nothing about us all not receiving service if we returned. I don’t think just because he tried to get in with the wrong ID he should be allowed back if he has his proper ID. We asked for the manager and he said he could not get the manager. Ben, her coworker, turned and then proceeded to kick us all out. When we got back with his ID & the blonde bartender, Nikki, very rudely turned him down and said we could not get service and we needed to leave. So we went 30 minutes out of our way to get his ID and returned because we had some friends waiting for us there. They noticed & said he could not enter without the proper ID. He did try and use a friend’s ID, not for drinks, but to get inside. My boyfriend forgot his ID at home and was told he couldn’t come in.
